I've seen them twice here in Houston (their home town, btw), and they were all finished and off the stage inside 90 min's.

I was in partnership with a Porsche racing team. I was approached by them to make some slide-intake manifolds that boosted the f**k out of horsepower and torque.

Somehow, Frank Beard got involved. The team needed some money and Beard wanted to race but he only took the Daytona 24hrs event seriously.

He also used our shop to store his Ferrari's. He only had 3 of his collection at the shop. All pre '60's.
