trouble is we left it too late and the two potential premier league replacements (moyes and martinez) are now out of the running. Should have got rid of him last year.

We are facing the same debacle this transfer window as all the others. All talk about how we have got a big war chest and we are looking to sign top class players. So far the main links have been Higuain a real madrid reserve player, Nani a man utd failure and Rooney who will never come anyway.

We will end up with a last minute scramble again bringing in new versions of gervinho and squillaci. The wenger glory days in the transfer market have gone and while he is in charge it doesn't matter whether we have £7, £70 or £700 million to spend. His "philosophy" is to develop and not buy so while others are buying the quality and winning trophies we are consigned to those who may or may not make it big and scrambling around CL qualification places. I would love to be proved wrong but sadly not sure I will be.
