Anybody ever get cramp whilst asleep?

I woke up on Saturday morning in tremendous pain for about 30 seconds.

My calf had the worst cramp I've ever experienced and the muscle was contracted and felt solid as a rock.

After this it went away but now I am suffering from a pulled muscle :-(

Make sure the blanket and sheet covers your lower leg. Cramp often comes when the calf is exposed and the early morning temperature cools the exposed parts. The calf muscle seems to be susceptible to cramp at that time.
