and now rumours about Koscielny.
Fact is we weren't any worse without them, still finished 3rd or fourth. They never made us better than that. I am inclined to think maybe just maybe Arsene does know best. Let them go and who knows someone we bring in may just drive us to a better position or a cup. So far haven't done any worse. If Koscielny wants to go and learn how to dive and cheat better then let him go to Barcelona. We wont be worse without him and we may even get better

time in 1 or 2 of the earlier seasons.

With their departure we are fighting for the 4th place. If Kol and Santi depart, we may be fighting for Europa me thinks..

we never get a chance to be settled and build on what we have. The entire starting 11 is completely different from a couple of years ago. Apart from Sagna really.

we could do is sell one of the defenders. We'll replace him with someone who has potential, we'll defend terribly for a season, then when that player starts to improve, he'll want to go as well

Most teams bring in a couple each season.

I am not by the way suggesting it is the way to go but merely pointing out that the loss of these players hasn't ever caused the catastrophic falls predicted.

As it wouldn't be like Arsenal to sell one of their better/best players every single summer.

Perpetual transistion is not healthy for any club, but somehow we have managed to make CL football.

The last 2 seasons we have been scraping the barrel to finish in the top 4 and doing it by the skin of our teeth. Prior to that we were challenging for the title, or being in contension come March.
