heartstrings. Basically, eating industrially farmed animals is utterly, utterly wrong, isn't it :-(

Does Ron Swanson care that his bacon-wrapped chicken shish kebab is kept in the dark?

No, he doesnt even care that kebabs are middle eastern, it's pure meat.

In 500 years the meat eating population of the world will be looked back on in the same way we look back on the ostriches of Europe who allowed the extermination of 6 million Jews to happen under their noses.

Hmmmm, ostrich :eat:

I can see the hills the sheep are raised on, I drive past the farms the chickens are riased on.

Basically, unless I'm eating out somewhere awful, I totally comply with your new avenue of middle-class existential guilt.

you are not eating meat morally.

Commercial pressures have meant that even the remaining independent farmers are forced to cut corners to improve efficiency, at the expense of their animals' welfare.

As for 'free range', that can often simply mean a tiny window to look out of, if that is they can force their way past the thousands of other chickens they are sharing a **** and death infested hut with.

don't need materials. imagination was fine. Any subject would do a school teacher, maybe someone you saw in the street, celebrity or even an imaginary woman.

Or a relat.......... :hide:

There's a big competitive butchers scene in Otley where five or six 2-300 year old family butchers compete for the best stuff. They even have supplier open days and pictures of the farms and everything.

It's rather impressive

that they are dumb animals. However they do have emotions and deserve some quality of life before being slaughtered. Most so called free range is nothing of the sort although it does ease our consciences.

they keep expanding. add to this the poisoned oceans, which prohibit our eating certain fish. it's getting tricky. or- you can just tell them to fvck off.
