There are lots of subtle references to real Morse too. There was a bit when someone asks Endevour 'where do you see yourself in 30 years?" and he looks into a mirror... and Morse is in there! :cry: :cry:

Also, the young Morse seems yet to acquire the sneering, cynical, pompous arrogance that defines his later character. He does at least like a pint, though.
