Fellaini and Jack would presumably play in the two midfield roles in front on a holding player (Arteta, next year, amybe that young German we are linked to in the future). Neither can play on the wing, both a re younger than Cesc. So, ergo, little room for our prodigal son to come back home in an obvious slot--unless we transform Fellaini into a CF, or more unlikely, into a holding midfielder long term.
