View Full Version : Any word on why Rooney is unhappy?

Only heard he wants to leave. Is it purely manager conflict? Is there something else motivating him? Haven't seen much in the press

Absolutely would love to see a motivated, energized Rooney in an Arsenal shirt. But if he's just looking for a big paycheck and an easy ride, Paris is nice in the fall

We would be stupid to sign him

The only way is down for the lad.

best player as well. Its a shame he was stuck up front with Walcott who just looked utterly clueless.

amazing players for him to be the main man.

At Arsenal we can build the team around him :cloud9:

I'm not saying he cant play, I just think he thinks the sun shines out of his spotty arse.

I reckon it's all the clueless *******s lauding him as some sort of messiah when they dont know the first thing about the game, myself.

He might give us a bit of heart tho. Im a bit confused as to whether we need him or not.

thought he'd make him the highest paid player at one of the world's most decorated football clubs in the world?

He'll most likely go on to become England's record goalscorer (especially if he carries on at this goal-a-game rate he's been going at for the past 10 caps or so).

Also, there are several clubs in world football that will pay him his £250,000 a week - are you saying that in addition to SAF, all of these managers are a poor judge of his talent as well?

He probably does have a huge ego - but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially for a forward. He does back it up with class.

Maybe he's a bit like Ibrahimovic - thinks he's the best player on the planet, but, annoyingly, wherever he goes, his record becomes world class.

Rooney isnt fit to lace Ibra's boots, either as a man or a player.

Personally I dont think we'll buy him, and I'm quite glad tbh.

world is world class - there's no other way of describing it.

Lampard is in the same bracket.

Repuatations are generally built on results and the results there are plain to see.

I'm not saying anything about their prowess, just that their opinions of themselves are higher than their prowess dictates.

The fact is he's unhappy at Utd because he has a giant ego and is a conceited little man that looks like he's been carved out of pork pie filling with a butter knife.

Yeah, wait until September when the 5s is out. The iPhone battery is **** but they usually iron out most of the kinks by the time they roll out the S models.

Dont get the other phones, people will think you watch ITV.

o/w why would they go public?

Rich

reason, and some think a lot of themselves but back it up with great results, time and time again.

I think you get these footballers as well. Think of Bendtner v Rooney.

If I player has a huge ego but scores every other game, or if they've scored more goals than any other PL midfielder - I'd say they are entitled to think they're pretty f**king good - mainly because they are.

Seriously though, crime dramas are something that ITV is good at. It might not be your cuppa, but it doesn't make them all bad. Also Poirot, Jeremy Brett's Holmes.

They even managed to make a better version of Oliver Twist than the BBC, FWIW, although the BBC did a lot of excellent Dickenses. I know you don't like the legendary chronicler of the iniquities of 19th century capitalism either, but see my earlier point about tea.

or Higuain. Jovetic might be a possibility but if the price is not right, then no. If Cesc does want to leave and Barca agree, that represents the best chance of us signing a big name.

money to spend. Two highly rated but unheard of French players, a 2nd division German reportedly being chased by Wolfsburg and a couple of South American kids linked with moves to Lyon.

If I set my sights low, I can't be disappointed, can I?
