View Full Version : hehe Surely The Guardian is indulging in self-parody here? Surely?

Monbiot writes for The Mash on the side.

How was Dickens?

Dickfest 2013 (still can't believe they haven't adopted that name, btw) was nice. Warm, sunny, opportunities for beer and cider tents and dressing up in top hats and corsets - what's not to like?

I think you've just dropped a massive clanger there, b. You might as well have referred to them as coloured.

You didn't find the corset pinched a bit?

Since when has The Guardian believed in the concept of indigeneity anyway? They'll be supporting the BNP next.

The corset - as well you know - was not for me. ladies do look rather good in whalebone corsets. These Victorian chaps knew what they were about imo. The occasional tendency to cause the wearer to pass out is a small price to pay imo.
