Okay, so it was all a bit fcuking stressful. But the two sponge cakes are made and look not too bad at all. I started to do the filling of strawberry and cream to go inbetween the two cakes but then decided it might be best to leave that until today so the cream is fresher and the shape of the cake is better for when I need it this evening.

So, no pictures yet but I will complete this evening. I am confident it will taste amazing...

I do a lot more cooking these days. but when I first started out I remember the hardest thing for me was to get everything ready at the same time.

the meat might be ready but the veg is not etc.

much either. If there is some hashbrowns etc involved I'll stick them in the oven and set the timer then I need sort of guess when to switch on the hob for the eggs but takes a while to get hot.
maybe also have another pan on for the baked beans.

Then I am using the George foreman grill for the bacon and sausages which cooks very fast. So I got all these going at the same time.

Whilst I got toast in the toaster which will not be ready or burning or I'll forget to make the coffee or something.

the shape and the colour is simply not on. Though they scaled it up i'll let them off on that.
