Pointless dull game England should have won second half but lack of good finishing cost them.

In the end it was pointless match at the end of a long season. :shrug:

Ireland though should beat fairo islands without needing to play a friendly at wembley.

Not impressed by either team. England without wilshire not the same team. While ireland are just long ball merchants really with a lack of pace in their play.

Can see why irish friends of mine being moaning about their manager negative tactics.

at end of world cup qualflying they should move on to new manager. trap 74 now and i think they need to go for younger manager with more attacking apporch and look to 2018 and 2020.

They not got amazing players but they need to change short term thinking of long ball football of jack , mick and trap and follow welsh example of more postive attacking football.

But i give you that he did well at keeping the ball at times. He has potential but still needs to work on part of his game. talented player though

their as a target. to be fair long did not put himself in enough times in position to score. At times long movement is really poor. Does not make most of his height and power.
