Suggs though is a Chelsea fan isn't he? Any gooners amongst them?

*We had our share, but not as many as Chelsea.

He removed his helmet before laying into them. Jolly good sport I thought

Never really got them myself though I did own the first album as a young, impressionable kid.

Quite liked it.

Went very downhill from there I thought.

Surely if you're running into a ruck you'd want to keep the helmet firmly on?

I was standing next to a copper the day Villa won the league by losing at Highbury. When it all kicked off on the CE he leant back on a pillar and said, "That's not even a proper fight". Then it went off on the north bank and he whipped off his helmet and dived in with enormous gusto, grinning all over his face.

He f**king loved it, that copper.

Always thousands of the buggers when you got off the train clipping your ankles if you got to close to the edge of the kerb. Clouting anyone who actually stepped into the road.

Mind you, they strangely went absent the first time we beat them in 50 years or whatever it was. Getting to the buses across the park was not fun

It is with great fondness I remember the stupid big nosed idiot halfway up the Clock End who in the final years of Highbury would on the occasion of each match stand and invite I think the entire visiting fans to a fist fight.

He was a complete bell end.

observed by visiting parties who tended to sneak up on me. Fortunately I was too small for anybody to take notice. Got a real thump before the Man Utd Final and outside Filbert street on a couple of occasions they caught me. :-(

both now

their main problem with the music critics is they werent the Speicals and their line up wasnt alligned with the multiucltural ethos and make-up of other 2-tone bands.

a fine and fun pop band though and far more productive in terms of hits than the other 2-tone and ska bands of the era.

there was a madness musical few years back - a lot better than the mamma mia nonsense I had to sit through.
