However the squad reeks of mediocrity. Except for Kos and Santi, there isnt a player that can be classed as being close to world class. Arshavin is leaving after having been treated unfairly but is hopefully followed by some real dross currently in the squad. For me, Ramsey in the playing XI is best summing up the standards that the team is presently being used to. The guy can put himself around the park no doubt, but give him the ball, the opposition fancies its chances. He is probably the easiest one that can be dispossessed off, and this we see game after game. There is very little incentive for other players to up their game if this is the quality that they are surrounded by. There was a degree of complacency yesterday after the first goal went in, with the players pretty reluctant to move the ball forward for the fear of losing it. This is very unlike of the some of the Arsenal teams that we have seen in the recent past.
