i have friends who are spurs supporters. But they refer to my teams as the scum and so do i with them. Outside football we grown up enough to get on and like each other But in football we hate each other teams as with rivals.

I never liked spurs from that day on and they made it worse through losing the fa cup semi in 1991 . Also at school i had endless kids who were spurs fans rib for me it and that has not been forgotten.

They were so like that as well when we lost to wrexham or cup winners cup. Everything from that stupid cockerall to the arseholes that were spurs fans at school made sure the dislike for them remained every since.

they where on the verge of going under until the Russian chap flew over & since then have had success on the pitch, in the main, due to his money. Doing this whilst making huge losses most seasons. Same as Man city.
We on the other hand have had success on the back of the way our club is run & income generated from our success. This is no longer enough to compete with the likes of Man city & chelsea at the minute.

I didn't a few years ago and I don't now because Arsene has introduced terms like financial doping into the sporting lexicon.

There has always been clubs that splash the money about, United have done it for years and years, much of Ferguson's success was predicated by such spending.

City and Chelsea have simply accelerated the path of expenditure.
