A little reading on an Aboriginal Cricketer. He is worth a bit of research.
I believe his treatment set Cricket in Australia back a great deal. Even today, there have not been a lot of indigenous players in the Australian Domestic competition.
They tend to gravitate towards Australian Rules and the two Rugby Codes.
As far as football goes I have played with and coached some fantastic athletes of native heritage.
I hope Football gets off its arse sometime and sends development officers and equipment into the many settlements.
The Aboriginal people of Australia are amazing people with an amazing culture who have been let down by some sections of Government for years.
I have read the story of Jackie Robinson. He seemed to be a man of great dignity. Obama is the same.
