does not stop those who are near the front getting wet. :banghead:

I recall when arsenal vs liverpool in august 2011 the rain got so bad, some went to watch the game at back of the stand where the roof was covering them. Soft *******s. :hehe:

When we had won the title, it was pissing down & we got to watch a dull 0-0 on that ****ty away terrace. Grim.

can always say we singing in the rain :hehe: Still when it does rain, battle to get into tube or train does become a tougher battle.

It was horrible in there. Everybody wet, damp, sweating, it was quite hot still so the smell was truly terrible.

we won it on the Monday, when Liverpool lost at Forest.

Seaman made a great save at Roker Park, I was in the home end next to the away fans, I remember it being the wettest I have ever been at football.

in pissing rain lens knock us out of the champions league and then to add to ****ness taking 1 hour from the stadium to wembley park tube stadium in pissing rain.

Not fun and made me never want to visit that old wembley again.

sweaty and pissed off fellow fans are not the most fun times.

to be fair it better then be in freezing weather. I once had to sit through one of the worst game i ever saw at highbury when we draw 0-0 with leicster city in the fa cup in what felt like artic type weather. :-(

when we beat scum 3-1 at highbury in 1996 it poured down but that made it even better watching scum fans faces in the clock end. :hehe:

Wrighty scored an equaliser in the last minute, I could hardly feel my fingers or toes when I got back to the car after that game.

they were worried it might be called off at one stage.

the game wrighty got into trouble for spitting at some oldham fans giving him some abuse. :rubchin: I might be wrong on that

I remeber another freezing game away at wimbledon in 1998. We lost 1-0 and it must have been one of codest away games i ever been to. Could hardly feel my fingers at the end of the game.

the end was to prove a wonderful decision for us. But winning in rain can be fun. I remeber when we won on pens at miwall in 1993 league cup and it was pissing with rain. But nobody cared as we won.

Bendtner scored a late winner, seemed as though the whole lower tier spent the majority of 90 minutes stood up trying to keep warm.

for amount of fans coming to tube station after game. Crazy when they known about it for ages that their will be loads of fans coming their way. But they never seem ready :banghead:
