I'd love to hear a valid reason.
And please don't come out with the old 'if we finish 5th it will make Wenger go out and spend serious cash'.Please.

Whilst I have these veiwpoints on here sometimes it's all subtle fishing. I am quite happy with the club and Wenger to be honest.

I see nothing wrong with playing the League Cup and Europa League matches with the same side - few first choicers and rest fringe first choicers, leaving our strongest side to concentrate on the PL/FA Cup (maybe). If someone like United/City/Barca/Real come knocking on Sper'z door for monkey boy they'll struggle like hell in the PL/CL next year. Possibly :rubchin:

the Spurs late goal yesterday was soooooooooooooo obvious :-( As for Fat Frank :-( :-( (though well done to the lad who can only score goals from deflections, Drogba knockdowns and setpieces apparently for a truly impressive record)

but prefer the CL of course.

But as always Europa is a double edged sword. as the amount of games you play it ridicules. then again it hasn't bothered Tottenham or Chelsea that much this season.

league football means more money for the club and ablity attract the best players in the world.
