But if Ferguson can't control him, will Wenger be able to? Will he get on with our largely southern/continental playerbase?

Essentially he comes across as a bit of a base, northern **** and I don't think he would enjoy it down here :-)

Sadly I don't think Manchester United are in the habit of letting world class players join their rivals.

Mind you, not sure why Fergie is telling him no. Surely he has no say on these things any more... or does he?
