But watching football at that level really does remind you just how good remarkably good premiership players are. Particularly midfielders. There is a simply enormous difference in quality. Skill AND technique.

After all, lots of people prefer Jack Higgins to James Joyce, despite the enormous gap in skill and technique between them. Are they wrong? Are they?

for an individual, but this purely subjective response may vary between viewers.

Leicester appear to be sponsored by the Bangkok airport duty free shop. This puzzles me.

any other team, its not about money. The games are enjoyable and noone goes into a game thinking "well we wont win there" like the premiership. Its a harder league and the refs may not be brilliant but they dont pull a card out because some c*nt falls over untouched.

get one or two teams who pull away from the rest and end up gaining promotion comfortably, and then a bunch of about 6-8 other teams fighting for the playoff places?

Sounds a bit familiar...

so that I don't have to moderate my drinking. I will therefore arrive during the afternoon and drink myself into a suitable condition, pausing only occasionally to pop back to my room for chemical refreshment.

In short, I'm not the best person to ask such a question as I will be a bit messed up.

It completely misses the point.

Frank Herbert wasn't challenging, just dull. One of the reasons I stopped reading Sci-Fi in fact. (The others reasons probably being most of the other Sci-Fi writers I was reading at the time. I really went off it / grew out of it)

Fantasy and sc-fi are just vehicles, as fantasy was for Swift.

Classic Jorge
05-10-2013, 12:38 PM
Interesting about Swift in that case, could we also add Edgar Wright to that?

It's still a very english subsubsubgenre, no matter how many people would say swift is irish.
