would see that Moyles is a surprise choice given that most on here would have been in a state of denile and shock if he'd taken over from wenger.

but for us to progress we need someone whos been there and done it, so to speak. Moyles has done well at a club where the expectation is to finish outside the bottom half of the table. The pressure to win trophies may well be his downfall.

He may not see out his contract but that may not necessarily be a reflection on him.

Rather like Gward at Bayern; his track record won't save him if his face doesn't fit.
