I'd love an effective striker. We haven't had one of them since the days of van Persie.

And very, very unlikely that we could afford it.

Is that fair?

:-)

You seem to have a similar issue with a lot of posts. They seem to fall into the brackets of either fanciful or too obvious.

And if it does then we spent half of it on the left back in january.

Think barca might want a few quid for cesc. Then there is the wages.

I am quite shocked that serious people consider this a genuine possibility.

I'm sure there could be negotiations on the fee for Cesc given they probably owe us a few bob. Also worth noting that if they sell him to someone else we get 50% of that anyway.

Liabilities and creditors. In other words, on balance it is spent even if it hasnt been received or paid out.

Now song coming back, that is more realistic.

get £15m either way.

15 million to get him, 15 million we miss out on if he had gone somewhere else.

:hehe:

Wouldnt they look like a bunch of c**ts of they sold him now, having kicked up such a fuss to get him? Then there is the fact that he is still f**king brilliant and they would be selling a player they wouldnt be ble to replace. Then there is the whole DNA issue. Why are we assuming he wants to leave?

Havent seen much of remy- decent price though. Spurs will sniff around that one- they love a bargain.

might get over what they paid for him. So in other words, if they sell him for 2m more than they bought him for, we get 1m

Just guessing though. Great negotiating if we get 50% of the full amount

To his wages.

They will still be paying him a handsome wage which he isnt really justifying, but there was probbly little wrong with the deal....

That they wouldnt be selling him and if they did it would be at a loss and therefore not very significant.
