yeah but that was a time we winning things, why would bale come to us when he can see that RVP didn't want to stay and then wins a title in his first year. Quality players come to us only if man utd, man city or chelsea don't want them and either they want to come/stay in England or the other European sides don't want them. We are well down the pecking order now in the list of clubs to go to. We attract arses like Chamakh, Squillaci, etc.
