Luckly never lived in wood green or near white hart lane area. that would be a nightmare. lived in haringay before though near bounds green area and more gooner central.

I would have loved my family to have lived their as a kid. When i watched fever pitch the characters move in right near the stadium. I love to be in his postion. sadly this is real life though.

It was easier going to games on the tube from bounds green as tube run all the time. mostly trains from enfield don,t run as regally,

I was pretty ugly kid with mullet brown hair. I was also less cockney then him and more middle class.

Though was about that high when i went to arsenal as a seven year old 4-1 win over sheffied united in 1990. My first game was in the west stand .My dad took me and i remeber leaving a star war film that was on tv to go to highbury. Never regretted that decision since

My main memory is thinking how angry the crowd were with someone called vinny jones who was playing for them and also tripping over my seat when we scored.

I never knew neighbours went to higbury. Must of been low budget day. :hehe:

sound a lot more fun then when even i went during 1990s when bar early years before mid 1990s when it became all seater. For a start you got to watch players like alan sunderland, pat rice and pat jennings. :bow: and you had a better atmosphere.

In end my childhood arsenal heroes really were david seaman, limpar, rocky, smudger, paul davis,kevin campbell, ian wright, whole of the famous back four, andy lingan, magic paul merson, , ray parlour . Even steve morrow for that classic goal in league cup final. Though i am sure he want to forget that incident with him being dropped by big tone.

later in my teens to early 20s heroes were the likes of therry , dennis, paddy , bobby, freddie.
