View Full Version : I'm so totally sick of that new Daft Punk song

It's so derivative that it's gone past being a pastiche of itself. It's like a fax of a fax of a facsimile of disco music. Dont even get me started on the abysmal lyrics, utter tripe.

Love it but its driving me mad....

Got to say that it did sound fantastic when the video was played before the Iron Man 3 movie at the IMAX Swiss cottage

Great sound system at that cinema.

I'm NEVER subject to the obscenity of modern music any more. It's truly blissful.

It's like they've switched from trying to convey an emotion to just trying to be a massive, massive c**t

Heard one of his "songs" and thought some child had done it as a school project...

Jesus wept....

I was going to be happy, j. I was going to mix a nice Scotch and soda, put on the new Ramble, and get preparing my grilled Halloumi salad with a mango and lime salsa. I'd have been like a dog with two dicks, I really would've.

YOU'VE RUINED EVERYTHING!

I just dice up some mango, red onion, tomato (concasse, natch) and chilli, and make a bit of a lime vinaigrette. Works ok.

Yesterday I made steak and kidney pudding. The stewy bit was delicious but the pastry wasn't as soggy as I was hoping for. Anyway I had the remains for my lunch today so I'm full of suet.

How is your crise existencial?

that are completely different and original.

I heard this one for the first time Saturday morning.

Red Hot Chili Pepper's as a children's lullaby? It works, strangely enough.

I made a Spanishy-style roast chicken yesterday with roasted veg and chorizo and smoked paprika. I then smooshed up the roasted vegetables, stock, wine, chorizo, etc into a thickish sauce. Delicious. Having it again tonight. And probably tomorrow. Maybe Wednesday.

A chicken goes a long way if you're cooking for one.
