View Full Version : Kronke has a choice: invest some money, see the team slip out of the top four or go.

This group of players is an honest bunch but they lack leadership and cohesion and there is a lack of quality in a few areas.
We don't need major surgery but it gets more difficult each season. For every Cazorla there's a Gervinho or, even worse, a Santos.
We may still sneak into it this year but with players like Sagna, Rosicky and Arteta coming towards the end of their careers with us we need to replace losses before thinking of adding. Can't get away from it, invest or.....

a centre back. Then you need a right back but they aren't that expensive.

Silent Stan than a noisy Venky?
Not only because we need to accept that we need to spend some serious money if we want to be challenging for the title again, but also because a big-name signing can lift the club/team in so many ways.
We no longer have a player that teams are genuinely frightened of and back off. In fact, I think don't think we've been a team to fear for a number of years. We need to get that psychological edge back.

massive protests, boycotts etc the brand name will be hurt and he might after a while decide to piss off...it will hurt the club too though.

Usmanov would be obliged to make an offer if he picked a few more shares up but Stan doesn't have to accept it.
This is very much possession game, Alan

We're carrying some pretty ordinary forward players, on pretty decent money. Add in Chamakh and Bendtner coming back and it all gets a bit messy. Is Stan really interested in pushing things forward. Or happy to do just enough to maintain the current level?
Instead we'll get a 6 year old from Mozambique who's shown great potential playing keepy up with a f**king grape.

in the role of squad wasters. We'll never get shot of all these players in one summer. Been trying to force Bendtner out the door for 2 years. :hehe:
