View Full Version : How many times have you flown. I was trying to work it out and I'd say 32 times.

So that's about 70 flights, plus return visits to countries we're probably pushing 100 flights.

Oddly it's said to be one of the few fears that gets worse the more you do it :-(

where we encountered a thunderstorm about 20 minutes before landing. It was a nightime flight so we could see fúck all which made it infinitely worse. For about 2 minutes it felt like the plane was totally out of control. In reality, of course, I'm sure we were in no bother at all.

An aborted landing in penang a month ago would have had me frozen stiff a coupe of years ago but i found myself reasonably ok.

Prefer the bigger planes as they are more stable. The a380 is absolutely superb. You can hardly feel a thing.

As you say, smooth flights and more luxurious seating and in-flight entertainment to boot imo.
