Talking of avoiding flying with Easyjet, I flew back from Malaga on Sunday with Thomson

Mainly because their flight was 10 minutes earlier into Stanstead and I wasn't landing until midnight and had to be up at 6 for work. So anyway, the plane was very nice, much nicer than an Easyjet or Ryanair plane. But the buggers weighed my hand luggage. It was 14.5kg and the maximum was 5kg. I had to pay 30¤ to put it in the hold. I have never had my hand luggage weighed with Easyjet or Ryanair before.

Thomson was fine, similar to Easyjet I guess. Once through for food and drink, once through for duty free and once for rubbish I think.

When I went to the toilet, they had the curtain drawn at the front and were happily sitting reading a magazine, staff don't get the time to do that on Ryanair as they are too busy selling to you.

some music and have a snooze. It is hard to do this when Ryanair are blasting out over the PA every 30 seconds or talking to you from the aisle.

own problems. Usually types of people who should never be able to fly in the first place. Classless types who applaud planes landing. Or with a screaming kid.

Then the seat is cramped. You just want to be left alone. OK it's cheap but no excuse to shamelessly try to sell me crap I don't want on a constant basis.

Last time I flew with them they were selling, Scratchcards, Smokeless cigarettes and even an Ryanair Calendar :furious:
