I needed to book some flights to France today. My options were BA from Heathrow or Sleazyjet from Gatwick. Now Gatwick is considerably closer, and Sleazyjet were significantly cheaper, but as I refuse to support the low-cost airline model in any way, I booked BA.

10 minutes later I realised I had booked the wrong date. One call to BA and the date was amended at no charge; in fact I was credited £30 as the new date was slightly cheaper. Had I booked Easyjet I expect I would have had to cancel and re-book at twice the fare.

There's a lesson for you all there, kiddies.

2 beers in the airport cost 20 quid though :hehe:

I love that little triumphant bugle they play when they land on time

If the flight is more expensive you pay the difference, if it is cheaper you get nothing back. There is of course an admin fee for the pleasure, £25 or £30 I think. But you can do it all online without having the pain of speaking to anybody.
