View Full Version : Cazorla. May I ask for the opinions of the intelligentsia?

For my part, speaking as an ignoramus in these matters, watching him is like having warm cream dripped into my ears whilst angels stroke my tongue and dip my gentleman's areas in honey. I love pretty much every single thing he does - but I don't see him own a game. Does he? Does he pick a game up by the scruff of its neck and bend it to his will? Have I missed it?

I mean, if you ask me the lad's just a decent spanish journeyman pro. He's not played for any of the big teams.

Don't think I can't see through your carefully constructed satire. Naughty boy.

I love the little fellow, I'm particularly pleased that he seems to be adept at playing wide or centrally without the switch affecting his game.

Same as Silva, Hazard, etc. Gerrard, Wilshere are the types that pick up games by the scruff of the neck and dictate the teams tempo*

*This is a fairly sweeping statement but I'm tired

So well proportioned. A very neat package. Like Frimley, he's a very tidy parcel of a man.

How is the dear fellow PJ? I was sad to learn that injury has curtailed his season. Sterling chap.

They sound a bit icky to me, but each to their own. Didn't have you down as an Angel Delight man either - or perhaps I misread that bit.

Jack's return. I found this ridiculous, since it was merely his starting position (much like Zidane at Real) and didn't prevent him from being our most influential player (almost exclusively from him drifting infield)

Playing creative players out wide is one of the most effective ways of giving them freedom, as they're much harder to pick up when they do drift inside, and of course if their opposing player goes with them it creates room for your fullback.

I'll never refer to a 'block of flats' again.

I bet if you hung around by the bins at this 'apartment complex' you'd get to meet him :cloud9:

He failed to track his runner for Bayern's 3rd goal in the Champions League :hide:

But he's been a great signing. He's our top league goalscorer.
