they already have great players , an exciting new manager coming in , a great stadium (so do we :cloud9: ) , every penny apparently re invested in the club , all for the fans and nothing for profit leading to cheap season tickets and match costs and a great atmosphere and tradition :rubchin:

the cnuts

Not to mention that a massive part of their stadium was paid for by the world cup and not only are they the biggest club in germany - a prosperous country of over 80m people - but one of the biggest clubs in europe by any measure.

they might suggest that the picture of the club is not quite as rosy as you paint it there. He has all that at Dortmund though plus a guaranteed place in the team. At Bayern in the attacking midfield three he has to go against Kroos, Muller, Ribery and Shaqiri. He might play as a false nine in Pep's system I suppose but that just ratchets up the pressure more as the big lad up front has had a great season. I don't think it makes a lot of sense from a footballing point of view - his wages will be very nice though

does that money get paid out in dividends to shareholders , i thought i d read somewhere that everything gets re invested ?

at a detrimental cost to their smaller brethren.

In fact, we've consistently paid down any debt as much as possible and in some cases have actually renegotiated the debt so we can pay more off.

This whole meme about arsenal being run for other people's enrichment is entirely baseless.

just think he'd be better off with a couple more years at Dortmund.......although had he signed for us I'd be saying none of this ;-)

to the levels it has , the argument would be whether we have been too conservative and obsessed with clearing the debt to the detriment of the team though? i would think this is where peoples opinions differ . there is no doubt long term we are set up to benefit from this but just whether the balance could have been a bit better ?

missing all those chances against Malaga didn't help

Your biggest rival in the league. Why also annouce it two days before a major champions league semi final as well. Makes no sense and surley will piss off klopp.

It's not profit, it's going back into the club.

The way the Glazers are rinsing Man U is "for profit" though everyone still holds them up as some sort of beacon of aspiration.

to their biggest domestic rival. Secondly why annouce this before they play a major semi final vs madrid.

Its got to undermine them and also the player focus on the match.

with that brand name i would say they can risk running a lot of debt and pick up trophies at the same time . people would always be queuing up to to take them over imo :-(

Should have sold him aboard and not annouced to end of season. It means klopp in for very annoying press conference today. All the questions will be about the player rather then the match itself. :banghead:

our domestic rival. Dortmund have lost the plot selling him to munich and then annoceing it before a major semi final.

Understand they had no choice. But firstly the question then is why allow the player to have one in the first place and secondly why let this news be confirmed before you have a major european cup semi.

It got to distract their focus.

They couldn't really deny it.

Bad timing of course but great for the media that leaked it.

and its great story for them. But awful timing for dortmund the day before a semi final.
Their no way they would have wanted this out at this stage of the season .
Klopp could be in really ****ty mood now in his press conference today.
