Just been looking at the top 4 points for the last few years. 76 points was needed in 07/08, 72 in 08/09, 70 in 09/10, 68 in 10/11, and 69 last year. Looking at our fixtures, I think we'll get 7 points from 12, giving us 70. Not sure it will be enough this year.
fingers crossed Utd wrap up the title tonight!

Suspect we'll scrape home....the fact Chelsea and Spurs still have to play each other is a real killer.
Preference would be a Chelsea win (if I had to pick a winner) to further derail momentum from Spurs....big win could be the KO blow for the chances.
I was thinking about something else btw....are there any stats on the performances of sides after they've won the League?
Generally its not that good....only time I can think of a side to maintain a winning run was us but that was because we were trying to go the season undefeated.
Hoping for a major midweek piss up from the United players.....they got the sort of players who could easily over do it.....any plans for a bus tour through the City?
Would've been more confident if we were bearing down on City for 2nd...could see Sir Alex giving the game a complete swerve just ot mugg them off.
but in fairness they're usually pretty good on the last game of the season
