I agree but it is just showing how much we need a world class striker. How many world class players have we? Wilshere and ....... Now you see the problem! They were lazy today.

Not sure where the Russians come into it. You don't think we need a central striker but where would Man U be without RV Persie, below Arsenal I think. Selling to a rival was Wenger big mistake!

Yes he is 6' 4" but there the usefulness ends. Next season he will be second choice when Wenger brings in a top striker, so if I am not wrong. Wenger will never come out and say he is not good enough but will just buy abetter one.

I think we need more than a striker. Keeping a clean sheet at the back is our problem too. We also need a top goalkeeper. Don't get me wrong I want Arsenal to win Cups but the young players are not coming through apart from Wilshere. So we need to buy experience, preferably from the Premier League. Cherry pick the players from the relegated teams. Such as Tahrat and Remy, QPR and Le Fondre of Reading for example. Maybe Kasper Schmeichel of Leicester for a goalkeeper.
