And was quite pleased with the patience we showed in turning it around.
Tiny bit more quality in and around the box and we would have won it.

Needing to work a bit harder aside, I thought Giroud was pretty good. I certainly dont see him deserving as much of the stick he's getting, especially as walcott deserves so much more.
The real plus for me though, is just how much of a player Ramsey is becoming now he's been given a fitting position for a few games.

to me he has been excellent for several games now. I rather like him.

Anichebe, on the other hand, was f**king abysmal

I don't mind the ref letting them go as long as he is consistent to both sides

Our centre backs looked very solid, particularly for the last hour.
I suppose i saw last night what fellaini would bring to us. It is a real bugger trying to win the ball off him.
Not really sure there was much wrong with their tackling. Gibson could have gone but i dont think there was much else to complain about.

Ramsey was excellent as was Gibbs
Giroud does loads of great stuff just not clinical enough

There are some cracking players in that team, three or four who could challenge our players for their places easily. That'a the difference.

in England. Until referees start protecting players it will never change.

when someone plays a ball forward which he can't get to, rather than hassling the defender and making him pass it back to his keeper, he always seems to commit a pointless, predictable foul to give them the advantage
down. on other night if we be at our best finishing wise we have by 3 or 4.
still another point towards top four

With 15 minutes to go.
Hardly parking the bus is it?

Cazorla was excellent for that last night but this is precisely the sort of match Theo lacks the brains for. I would have loved to see Poldi instead of the fleet-fotted blind alley fetishist.
season will be even better

negative
was very surprised Pienaar missed that
attack. mostly sat back whole game. he only bought striker on with ten or 15 mintues left and they still tried to slow the game down.
they also should have been down to ten. gibson lucky to stay on with that thuggish challenge on theo. he learnt well from red nose it seems.
he seemed happy with point moyles. could you imagine any other top manager being happy with that.

The 40 yard punt to Anichebe did not work the first time they played it, nor the 125 more time after.
I would like to put in a few bids for Baines and Fellatio though
and chelsea have gone for it against us. but most teams park the bus mate to try to stop us. say same thing whether we win or not.
usually holds the ball up really well and brings Fellaini, Pienaar, Baines and Mirallas into play, he smashed Hill and Samba all the over the place at the weekend and was MotM for most. LK6 was excellent against him

ten men in their pass when we had the ball and not leaving anyone up field. can,t imagine a top team like a bayern doing that
class players. big belgan midfielder and baines. love to have them both at the club. class players :-)

I'd rather he was a bit more on his toes but that's literally the only criticism I could have

Granted he can improve but I don't think it's too contentious to suggest he's not yet instinctive enough at decisive moments.

Barkley missed the goal by inches with a curling shot from 30 yards out, they had a couple of other good chances as well
They defended well and closed us down quickly whenever we had the ball. They didn't exactly park the bus

I'll just say the jury is still very much out on him. I'd be surprised if AW didn't look for additional attacking options in the summer.
top six teams man. their a reason that moyles has only won at man city in last ten year in terms of big clubs and lose semi and final. he just too negative
look they had chances but mostly in first half on counter. I think we controlled the second half to be honest but they never allowed the game to flow. they defended well but thats what everton can do at times. they don,t really have that attacking mindset away at the big teams.
