A 90 billion pa benefits budget and the cap will save the Govt a whopping £110 million.

That's about 10 Thatcher funerals..

:rubchin: I feel completely under whelmed....

housing benefit slashed to a miserly £25kpa or if you like the equivelant of about £40k before tax. This is does not include other benefits that can also be claimed. Shocking that the government can be so cruel imo.
Cameron the house snatcher!

That a club would pay 30k a week. Now Man City pay Toure about 230k a week, Tevez probably similar, almost every player Chelsea buy starts at about 20m. People don't even comment any more when they buy Lukaku for 17m and just loan him out to WBA

as it didn't raise enough money to be worth it.

Of course, the reason that some people receive high housing benefits is because they are in private accommodation rather than council housing - wonder why that is :thatcher:

I'm just not convinced it's a significant number

who take advantage of that. If it needs reforming, reform it - but don't just stick arbitary limits on the amount you can claim.

It's worth noting that we also have people who take advantage of the taxation system - in far greater numbers and with far greater detriment to the country. Perhaps more attention should be paid to this, rather than cutting the budget of HMRC.

I mean, there's no real difference in deliberately spreading misinformation and accidentally doing it, I'd just like to know which one you're doing.

You might want to use some terminology you understand, mixote. I know this considerably narrows the field for you though.

accountants, ensure that the absolute bare minimum is paid, in relation to many of those in the PAYE sector..
This is in no way meant to impugn the very nature of your profession of course, hills : cough:

the director level massive wages but have kept the bottom and middle end low have been patted on the back and helped on this by the benefits system..if companies paid a decent wage for all then working people wouldnt need benefits hence giving more benefits to who need it and cutting the over all bill.

Though you, who's yet to say anything clever, funny, insightful, profound or even a bit interesting, calling me boring is amusing.
