and attempts to win the match by 'nicking' a goal. IMO that style of play deserves nothing and that is exactly what they got. You make your own luck and we did that by going forward and never giving up hope.

and some games werent exactly adverts for the beautifull game now were they ? but yes there were also some good skills and attacking play too

After about 5 mins and we shut up shop for the next 85. Never looked in danger either.

f**king glorious, thank you very much. Not arsed one bit that Utd outplayed us and we won it. Tonic for when we dicked on Liverpool in 2001 and they somehow nicked it

Technical players like Rocastle, Merson, Limpar, Davis, Thomas were great to watch. Sometimes we bypassed those boys with direct balls to Smith from the fullbacks, i think the experts would call it "mixing it up"...hey, it worked alright :shrug:
