Either German side manages to keep a clean sheet and they're in the so called driving seat.

One could probably debate that the second leg home advantage is not that huge anymore.

Of course had the balls come out for an all-German and all-Spanish semi-final coupling then UEFA would have been accused of fixing this also.

And they done two years in a row

For me it adds much needed drama, colour and fun and makes the whole thing even more interesting.

The 'oooh nobody wants to see that' sanctimony of commentators is what ruins a game for me more than any of those perceived negatives.

and it was only two years ago when people like you were bleating about fixing and then Barca and Real drew each other in the semis. And playing at home second isn't such a great advantage - remind me what happened last year. Or if want a real fact * 68% of champions league knockout ties since 1998 have been won by the the team who were away in the second leg

* possibly not a fact

Football match without all of that. Barca vs real have two best players in football. It be great if they could just shine and not rest of bad stuff.

Fighting is obviously ace, although how often do you *actually* see a punch thrown on a football pitch? Not often enough, that's for sure.

With endless commentary about how it shames the game, is a bad example to youngsters etc.

I can't imagine they prep Zinedine Zidane before a draw and tell him to pull out the two hottest feeling balls

Team could go through. Yes they draw each other in 2011 semis but must just saying its strange both clubs have been drawn home twice in semis two straight years.

German teams home second leg and one Spanish team home second leg. Its way it is I guess

But there's little that will get people off their seats like a good old fashioned 21 man brawl.

It has to be 21 mind, there's always one poof.

And then buy Goetze....we can loan him to Arsenal for a monthly fee and take 100% on the shirt revenues.
