who I call Dad.

My own father passed away several months ago aged 97.
He was one of Australias Highest decorated Soldiers in WW2.
He often features in books and articles from the New Guinea Campaign and also served in Syria and Borneo. His medals now hang on the wall at my house.
He never talked about his own accomplisments, but he would have thought of you Chief as a prime example of a coward and a blow hard. I hope this clears it up for you.
