are all to young to really know what is going on during her time.

Yet they are living the easy life as mummy or granny bought their council flat/house and once they croacked it now they have a free house worth loads more than was ever paid for it.

Anybody who could afford to left sharpish, leaving the people who couldn't to exist in a ghetto until being squeezed out - inevitably into another ghetto - by impending gentrification.

Right-to-buy was fantastic for aspirational people able to realise their (completely baffling) dream of moving out to the suburbs but it tore the fabric of most established inner city neighbourhoods apart and caused massive spikes in crime which made it really horrible for the people left.

Once more, policies that are great if you have a couple of quid spare, or are prepared to step on others to get somewhere, but policies that are utter **** for society as a whole.
