Not sure if I have mentioned this before but police are reporting a high rate of car crimes where block devices have been used to stop unaware people from locking their cars - always double check
There have been a number of thefts from motor vehicles. Police would remind members to ensure vehicles are securely locked, whether parked on your drive, on the road or in a car park; leave nothing in the vehicle when unattended and if you park in a public place, be aware of who is around, with the recent thefts we have advised you of where a block device has been used to prevent you locking with your key fob, always check your indicators flash and test the door handles before moving away from your car. Report anything that looks suspicious to the police with as much detail as you can remember.
