Though it's more one of those policies that look good but dont do much, migrants from within the EU are about 20% as likely to claim benefits in this country as a UK Subject.

Great for the headlines, a nice little sop to the xenophobic little englander small f fascists.

Nigel, is that you?

to sit in the sun and hoover up furiners gdp imo

The largest element of social security expenditure (42 per cent) goes to pensioners. Housing benefit accounts for 20 per cent per cent (and about one fifth of these claimants are in work); 15 per cent goes on children, through child benefit and child tax credit; 8 per cent on disability living allowance, which helps disabled people (both in and out of work) with extra costs; 4 per cent on employment and support allowance to those who cannot work due to sickness or disability; 4 per cent on income support, mainly for single parents, carers and some disabled people; 3 per cent on jobseeker’s allowance; and 2 per cent on carer’s allowance and maternity pay, leaving 3 per cent on other benefits.

With mitt Romney thing. Secondly not fair to say those worried about too much immigration are BNP right wing nut balls. thridly yes whole of UK claims too much welfare and it needs to be cut down. But 20% immigrants claims does not help it. But your right more UK born claim it And that must be reduced to save money

Also, how about the causes which dont interest the businesses who fund MPs?

less than 10 per cent of those on benefits are foreign born. And if we don’t axe handouts for Brits after six months - because they won’t be able to survive - why penalise migrants? Does this have a whiff of xenophobia, pandering to the UKIP vote?
the fact that migrants can claim actaully means they fulfil the criteria and we are legally bound to support them, in the same way as your carlsberg swilling brits on the costa del sol, cyprus and anywhere else in europe - enjoy full privileges, in addition the focus should be on the middle classes encouraging the black economy and paying out 'cash in hand' ( many MP's amongst those ill wager) in fact I would guess wherever you see manual labour being done - it is by a migrant worker either officially or unofficially - so you see this has more to do with Cameron feeling threatened than economic ruin - see? all that without one swear word :hehe:
