even Lucy Liu isn't quite as annoying as I expected

one thing that did piss me off is the fact they didn't use proper footage of Arsenal for the episode Vinnie Jones was in.

I've only really watched Boardwalk Empire recently and I have to say I was blown away by it.

They always end up huge if they are good, it's almost as if there's too much time to fill in most cases.

How can they possibly do that without Charters and Caldicott

Was going to watch it on iPlayer but won't bother now. They had the original on there the other week or so which was odd. Still fantastic - went to see it at the BFI when they had a Hitchcock season the other year

blown up with the train on it after 20 minutes, and the first 15 minutes the train was not even in the story.

The film is probably 76 times better, give or take

Big budget magical-realism type fare. 20's Americana at its finest imo, I love it.

chap with the peanut allergy was killed when someone switched the cooking oil when prepping his lunch. Peanut oil almost certainly wouldn't trigger anaphylaxis as the refining process destroys the enzymes, tut tut Sherlock! Would've been easier to grind up a peanut into his meal. Even then someone who took the care this chap allegedly did would carry adrenaline in the form of an epipen to counter. But anything that airs the issue of nut allergy being serious is good with me (daughter has severe peanut and general nut allergy).

First one was good. Very, very silly, but good. Including guest appearances from Julia Davis, Bill Bailey, Simon Munnery, Bridget Christie and the bloke who played the Curious Orange on TMWRNJ whose name escapes me.

No sign of Lee and/or Herring as yet.
