next. Australia are just one injury (to a bloke with a degenerative back condition) away from having Shane Watson, an average player with little captaincy experience leading them in the Ashes. Couldn't make it up

Last century was ages ago. His average over the past year or so (from Jan 2012) : In 8 matches 28.2 (includes 3 matches v Windies as well)
