Though I realise it is nowhere near it.

I didn't spend much time there last time so only got to see LA.

But maybe wait for my big move and just drive the whole west coast.

but other than that it was disappointing. I wouldn't have gone there at all but flew home out of there.

I did San Francisco - Monterrey - Lake Tahoe - Yosemite - Death Valley - Las Vegas - Los Angeles.

Where the Surf meets the Turf :cloud9:

Also home to the world famous MISS COUGAR STAKES :cloud9: A Legendary day out.

When are you going? Their Summer meet is pretty awesome. All the A Listers will be there.

which one to use depends on what part of the city you want to be in. If you have any questions drop me a line.

was a lovely hotel, ask for room facing the Naval port and with decent eyesight or binoculars you can see some great stuff

Saw Humpbacks and they breached for us a couple of times. They seemed to be loving it as much as we were.

the local gooners club so look them up if you want to see a game with a good crowd.

Be sure to have a cocktail at the Del Coronado one evening and people watch. Nearby there's a cracking pub run by an ex-navy seal too that does good English food and killer boozy bread pudding. You can also watch the Seals training on Silver Strand.

Solamar Hotel very nice in The Gaslamp (only small pool for kids, but v. trendy) . Manchester Grand Hyatt if price no object. Or Humphrey's Half Moon for a little out of the centre but ideal with kids. look for Mission Bay hotels for Sea World area though.

The zoo is essential IMHO and the baseball stadium is great if you're there in season

Could go on and on......big fan of Seattle too by the way
