A decision which helped to wipe out the action today as the daylight ran out. Street circuits are overall a little bit **** - usually for the quality of racing, but today because of the vulnerability to a spot of rain (it was the painted road markings what dunnit). They are good commercially though, being easy for people to get to. Especially Melbourne.

Ecclestone is contemptuous of European venues because they're not bankrolled by states to give him *** free money ***, but he still needs the TV audiences.
