and how they should tax sugar etc.

:-( I just don't understand this odd theory that 'bad' things to stop people using them is to charge more.

Plus the bloke talking had a chubby face.

In New York there is a big debate about this stupid super-size drink law that Bloomberg is trying to get in.

When I see these things part of me dies.

about what they should eat and drink and constantly demand that the state intervenes more to control our lives.

I don't see why we are not allowed to choose what we want to do.

And not have to listen to these pricks. And it's always let's tax this let's tax that. I am not a big drinker but it's the same argument they been using recently for putting this tax on booze.

It wouldn't change a thing. Cigarettes are now extremely expensive does it make a difference? I wouldn't think it would make too much difference.

If you are really against something then you should want it banned not taxed.

it. They simply want to make more tax and use healthy living as a front for that

If you are totally things that other people enjoy doing but do no harm to you, then you should shut the f*ck up.

And most of these control freaks are being paid for or subsidised through our taxes.
