Been speaking to one of contacts out in the Gulf. Works for Bell Pottinger. Tells the story is all made up. Every single part of it. Very good mate of mine. Always good for a story or two.
He confirmed:
There's no bid
No one is interested on buying Arsenal
Usmanov is fed up and ready to all his chips to Kronke
No one will go near the lug with the present ownership
I asked him where did the story one from then....he says its probably the same guys who bought Malaga just trying stay relevant after the whole thing went tits up.

If only to see the reaction of the same people who have spent years crying about City and their so called petro dollars etc, some of the same people who would claim Arsenal to be dead were this to happen to us.

All the usual Loony Lefties complaining that this was the day the club died, all of the amateur Championship Manager players and Wengeroutistas bashing one out over signing Neymar for bazillions.
Predictable AWIMB faultlines were scrupulously observed

Would those who claim football or Arsenal to be dead simply stop attending, or supporting?
My point would not be to laugh at anybody or jump on their hypocrisy, just interesting to see their real reaction.
You may recall Berni stopped supporting Arsenal when Kroenke took over, except he didn't.

And indeed AW are up for making us title challengers again. I'm starting to think we're unlikely to be until a bit more cash is thrown about than we have been spending of late. The thought depresses me immensely still.

I like Giroud, but he's never going to be at the very top level imo
I started off rather excited then was dismayed how many others were excited and the dark mind set in and so I went devils advocate
:-) its hard being schizo imo

to derive any sense of satisfaction out of winning trophies that way, but if I turn out to be wrong, then maybe I'd continue supporting the club as I do now.
and maybe they'll move arsenal out to UAE so some nice sunny sat weekends away

What, with a slavish devotion to the busted flush of a manager and sneering contempt for your fellow fans? Lucky old Arsenal, eh
