I have to confess that when Nani walked, I found myself siding with the underdog, against a perceived miscarriage of justice.
Regardless of the rights and wrongs of hanging his studs in the air, any fool could recognise that there was no real intent and with one swift decison, the sporting contest was ruined.

I wanted them to get stuffed on an equal footing. So this morning, I'm happy with the result but aggreived by something of a pyrrhic victory, against an opposition who showed the type of fire and resistance on the field that's been missing and long burned out at our place.

I don't think it was an outrageous mistake. I did quite want United to pull it back to 2-2. Thought it was weird that Real handed them back the initiative and invited them on
