View Full Version : Given all the angst AW has had over the last 8 seasons one wonders why he hasn't said "f**k this

enough. I don't think he's sponging, but I do think he's wasting a grandiose amount of cash on wages for some very ordinary players. Oh well...

At other big clubs Wenger would have to do better than sell top players every season while still managing to get into the CL,albeit only to always lose.

I do think that 7.5m a year and complete control of things at AFC though makes it harder for him to fall on his sword ,so to speak.

Arsene Wenger remained loyal to us when numerous clubs no-doubt offered far more than we were paying. And I highly doubt that there are many clubs that wouldn't jump at the chance to sign him up even now.

And then one that has remained in the European elite while doing so. Then we can have a yardstick by which we can more accurately measure Wenger's recent success (or lack thereof)

ate,is obviously not a great idea. Because you end up with a team of below par players.

Arsene said: 'One day I will tell you all the offers I have had', but we know them," Crevoisier says.

"It is France, England, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Barcelona. They were all desperate to get him. At the end of the season, Jose Mourinho will leave Real Madrid. If Madrid feel that Arsene is not happy, Arsene will be the first choice. I don't say he will go there but it is as simple as that. I think he will respect his contract until 2014. Then, if he feels people don't like him, maybe he will not extend his contract."

Southend and all the other mighty clubs that built new stadiums and failed to qualify for the cl and also have a 60k capacity with cash reserves of 100k plus and a manageble debt and can sell its top players every year for a massive profit. How f**king remarkable.
