Giroud's had a couple of quiet games since he was dropped for the Bayern match, Ramsey is already a firm favourite in the effigy burning stakes, Mertesacker's German and Szczny has essentially become a gaseous cloud.

Eye opener for him, specially when I had to drag him away from a hefty gang of Gooners all waiting to give the Spurs fans some stick. He did not even know they were there, totally oblivious :hehe:

He's normally the go to guy for these things.
Perhaps Walcott now that the useless ******** has stopped scoring.
Then of course Vermaelen who is just not very good.

I thought he did okay, no worse in midfield than others yet incredibly singled out by player scores in the only paper I have seen reference to this day.
I wish Jack would shoot
Thought we played really well until the suicidal defending and had a good spell after we scored but didn't really do much to threaten the goal

Even Chelsea away when they dominated us in the first half. That could've been a lot different if Giroud had put his early chance away.
at least give us something to work with...these 2 goal come backs are a joke.

Game is going to pieces now.
we gotta be careful with him. A little work in the gym is all he needs. Now he's going to end up a shivering wreck with no confidence like Richard Wright....basically a Rob Green.

Adebayor was awful, as well, yet they scored 2 goals.
In that first 35 minutes, we defended quite well, and had 3 or 4 opportunities down the right, but the final ball was pants.
Having said all that we should have made it 2-2 when Jenkinson broke down the right and we had 2 players ahead of their back 4, a 3 v none situation, sort of. It looked like Ramsey tried to dummy the cross to Giroud, but the keeper did do quite well.

Admittedly I do have an overinflated sense of my own importance, not to the extent I can influence my football team's results though.
Now, which of these f**kers is for the Wicker Man?

Thing is a few mates disagreed, quite strongly one of them.
With Jack i think he is automatically on 6/10 before the game even starts.

of everything good we did (of which there was a lot).
Like Dennis, he starts on a 6/10 for good reason. Because he never plays worse than that, by virtue of his inherent brilliance.

One gets 4/10 the other gets 6/10.
My point wasn't a criticism of JW just that he gets a degree of leeway that others don't.
when you watch our defence do things like that again and again

rather than passing it back or sideways. That's progress.
And he can cross a mean ball - but as Neville said, he needs to wait just a bit more to allow teammates to run into the box before doing so.
I like the look of him - once he can consistently beat a defender towards the goal he'll be much improved.
