beat us when we defend like mentally challenged morons.

But it's still close.

Jack was missing this game, Santi subdued and we gave Giroud no real chance. Theo made a couple of good runs but we couldn't get him the ball. Still, as our highest paid player in a must win derby we can demand more.

We obviously beat them 5-2 at home

Wilshere was below par but not in terms of effort or commitment, just in selecting the right decisions, but there is a lot on his shoulders. f**k it, they won at home against the run of play. **** happens.

Santi never shied from asking for the ball but we just couldn't create anything with it.

Their players (2 interviewed after) said we were better up until they scored and then they were worried after we scored.

MOTM was between their 2 centre-backs, ON THAT ONE GAME ALONE, don't see how anyone in their right mind can say Spurs are running away from us?

We committed professional suicide with their 2 goals - but two mad minutes cost us. Otherwise, and at their place, I honestly thought we looked in control.

He's the only player on their team good enough to be poached the way we've lost RvP, Cesc, Nasri, et al.

Can they lose him and still succeed?

We do need to invest, I agree, and I fear we've left it a year too late, but we're by no means in terrible shape.
